Resource Library — Collection Setup Guide

Follow the 5 steps below to connect your resources. The demo cards above show how it will look once live.

1

Create a new Collection in Duda

In your Duda dashboard go to Content → Collections and click "+ New Collection". Name it exactly Resources (or any name you prefer — just keep it consistent).

2

Add the required fields

Create the following fields in your collection. Field names must match exactly (case-sensitive):

Field Name Field Type Description Required?
title Text The display name of the resource Yes
description Text Short summary shown on the card Optional
file_url Text Direct URL to the file (PDF, DOCX, etc.) Yes
file_type Text File extension: pdf , docx , xlsx , pptx , zip , mp4 Optional
category Text Category label used for filter buttons (e.g. Reports, HR, Marketing) Optional
date Date Upload or publish date — used for "Newest First" sorting Optional
3

Upload your files & get their URLs

Upload your PDFs or other files using Duda's File Manager(Content → Files). Once uploaded, right-click the file and copy its URL — paste that into the file_url field for each row.

You can also link to any publicly accessible file URL — Google Drive share links, Dropbox, AWS S3, etc.
4

Import your data using the sample CSV

Download the ready-to-use sample CSV below. It includes 8 example rows showing the correct format for all fields. Edit it with your real data, then import it into your collection via Collections → Import CSV.

5

Connect the collection to this widget

Open the Content Editor for this widget (click the widget, then the pencil icon). In the "Collection Name" field, type the exact name of the collection you created in Step 1. The widget will load your resources automatically.
